TRICENTIS expands to Germany (30.01.2008)
TRICENTIS Technology & Consulting with its head office in Vienna works intensively in the field of software quality assurance and test automation. The development of TOSCA Commander by TRICENTIS led to a paradigm shift in automated software testing: software test automation by testers in business units, enabled by the "business dynamic steering".
Thus the company has successfully established itself across all industries as an expert in the field of software testing. The great advantage of TOSCA Testsuite™ is the fact that no programming is required for the test automation and thus the maintenance effort of continuous quality assurance is reduced to an absolute minimum. The company promises that a return on invest can be obtained within very short time.
The successes achieved so far and the fact that renowned major customers could be won in Germany led to the foundation of a German branch office. According to Franz Fuchsberger, CEO of TRICENTIS, the proximity to customers primarily militated in favor of an own branch in the neighboring country: "With well-known customers like Deutsche Börse, Gematik and HUK-Coburg it became necessary to be present on site. The branch office in Hamburg is the first step towards a broad expansion to Germany."
Wolfgang Platz, founder and CEO of TRICENTIS, feels that his approach was confirmed: "We always wanted to grow continuously and particularly self-financed. Our flagship TOSCA extremely appealed to large German companies and meanwhile we are passed on from one major customer to another by word-of-mouth recommendation.
