Test case specification
From the logical to the physical level
In TestCase-Design test cases are outlined starting from their test objective. In order to be able to execute these test cases, the outline requires a detailed list of specifications, containing all the test steps and test data. The specifications of manual test cases can initially be taken from the design via drag & drop.
Before TOSCA, manual and automated test cases were two completely different worlds. It took a great deal of effort to cross from one world into the other, because automation required a completely different, technical specification: code.
In TOSCA, manual and automated test cases are structured in the same way and always presented in a way that is understandable in relation to practice. This approach allows an evolutionary transition from manual to semi-automated to fully automated test cases. TOSCA is the first and only test solution to allow an almost effortless, fluid transition between the previously separate worlds and therefore allows the degree of automation in regression tests to be increased incrementally!
