Course Outcome

Upon completion of Automation Specialist Level 1, you’ll have a strong foundational knowledge of test automation with Tricentis Tosca. This course will teach you the skills required to carry out cross-browser test automation. You will be able to identify controls in an HTML application and steer the controls in automated test cases. You’ll be able to create more complex test cases by using dynamic values as well as optimize your test cases for maintainability and reusability. You’ll also learn how to create recovery scenarios for unattended execution.

What is Automation Specialist Level 1?

The Automation Specialist Level 1 course is your first step to becoming specialized in automation with Tricentis Tosca. You will learn HTML control recognition, design automated test cases, automation features, and final execution. By the end of the course, you will be able to fully execute five automated GUI test cases that you have created during the lessons.

What skills will you have upon completing the course?

Skills that will be enhanced include: control recognition, usage of steering parameters and dynamic values, execution on different browsers, and reusing modules.

Self-Paced Training

The Self-Paced Training is especially suitable for individuals and groups who need to fit their Tosca learning around a busy schedule.
