Tricentis Tosca Best Practices

Date: Tuesday, April 28 | 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m ET

Description:

Join this hands-on, 1-day workshop to learn Tricentis Tosca best practices from experienced Tricentis trainers. This Tosca Best Practice Course will enable Tosca users to maximize project efficiency by building on their previous Tosca knowledge to implement best practices in object reusability and project organization.

The Tosca Best Practice Course has 4 primary objectives:

  1. Gaining the most out of Templates, Classes, Repetitions, Conditions, Recovery & Clean up Scenarios
  2. Using best practices to achieve better reusability in the multi-user environment
  3. Leveraging reusability to lower the maintenance for the TestSet
  4. Using reusability to speed up the creation of TestCases


Course Requirements:

  • Laptop and power cord
  • Windows 7 or later installed
  • HTML5 browser installed (e.g. Internet Explorer 10 or 11)
  • Administration rights on the laptop onsite (ability to install/download exercise files)
  • Latest version of Tricentis Tosca installed


Suggested Prerequisites:

  • Automation Specialist Levels 1 and 2
  • Test Design Specialist Levels 1 and 2 
  • Practical experience with Tricentis Tosca
Introduction to qTest Manager

Date: Tuesday, April 28 | 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m ET

Join this hands-on, 1-day workshop to learn Tricentis qTest best practices from experienced Tricentis trainers. Whether you’re a new user, a team lead looking to hone your skills or a DevOps leader spearheading agile and digital transformation efforts, this course covers what you need to take advantage all qTest Manager has to offer.

Our test management experts will walk you through how to set up your Tricentis qTest instance, create projects, manage users, integrate ALM systems and more. You will walk out with valuable knowledge for test planning, requirements gathering, test case management, and test run execution.

The training will include lessons, targeted breakouts, exercises and complimentary enrollment to the corresponding online certification course exam to test your knowledge post-workshop.

Course Requirements:

  • Chrome browser installed
  • If using JIRA: qTest Integration for Jira Chrome extension installed (available here)
  • Ability to access the internet
