Introduction to Automation on the Tricentis Platform

Date: Tuesday, April 28 | 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m

Cost: $900 (Includes free pass to Accelerate San Francisco conference)

Description:
Are you looking to get started in Automation? The aim of this one-day workshop is to give new and practitioner-level users an overview into the power of the Tricentis Tosca and qTest platforms, both within the test lifecycle and specifically within the automation of TestCases.

Registrants will master creating end-to-end TestCases and discover how to leverage the power of Modules. Then, using features such as Dynamic Values, Dynamic Dates, Math Functions and Buffers, you will learn how to make your TestCases maintenance-free and resilient. By the end of the day, you will have a solid understanding of Tricentis Tosca and the principles underpinning automation using the tool, as well as the connections between Tosca and qTest.

This course will be in a workshop environment focused on hands-on learning and application within the tool.

Course Requirements:

  • Laptop and power cord
  • Windows 7 or later installed
  • HTML5 browser installed (e.g. Internet Explorer 10 or 11)
  • Administration rights on the laptop onsite (ability to install/download exercise files)
  • Latest version of Tricentis Tosca installed
Tricentis qTest Specialist Level 1 Certification

Date: Tuesday, April 28 | 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m

Description:
Join this hands-on, 1-day workshop to learn Tricentis qTest best practices from experienced Tricentis trainers. Whether you’re a new user, a team lead looking to hone your skills or a DevOps leader spearheading agile and digital transformation efforts, this course covers what you need to take advantage all qTest Manager has to offer.

Our test management experts will walk you through how to set up your Tricentis qTest instance, create projects, manage users, integrate ALM systems and more. You will walk out with valuable knowledge for test planning, requirements gathering, test case management, and test run execution.

The training will include lessons, targeted breakouts, exercises and complimentary enrollment to the corresponding online certification course exam to test your knowledge post-workshop.

Course Requirements:

  • Laptop and power cord
  • Chrome browser installed
  • If using JIRA: qTest Integration for Jira Chrome extension installed (available here)
  • Ability to access the internet over WiFi from the onsite laptop
Introduction to Tricentis RPA

Date: Tuesday, April 28 (1 day) | 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Cost: $900 (Includes free pass to Accelerate San Francisco conference)

Description:
Intrigued by Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and how it might work within your organization and business processes? If you want to know the “why” behind RPA, join this 1-day workshop to explore the key differences between test automation and robotic process automation and the impacts for today’s enterprise. The start of the session will cover basic automation principles before going deeper into RPA scenarios.

We will then apply these learnings in a hands-on exercise to automate a series of business-relevant processes Tricentis RPA Studio and RPA Orchestrator.

The training will include lessons, exercises and complimentary enrollment to the corresponding online certification course exam to test your knowledge post-workshop.

  • Laptop and charger
  • Practical knowledge of test automation using Tricentis Tosca
  • Completion of Automation Specialist Level 1 course highly recommended
  • Latest version of Tricentis RPA Studio (details to be provided)
