We are thrilled to announce Tricentis Copilot solutions, a collection of advanced generative AI capabilities available across our products that help customers boost their efficiency throughout the entire testing lifecycle. With Tricentis Copilot solutions, you can autogenerate manual tests from requirements, optimize your portfolio, autogenerate custom code, and get meaningful insights.

AI has always been central to Tricentis products, and each Tricentis Copilot solution leverages advanced Large Language Models ( LLMs) including an intuitive design to help our customers deliver greater quality at speed. Tricentis Testim Copilot is available today, with additional Tricentis Copilot solutions being released in the coming weeks. Each Tricentis Copilot will be available as a specialized add-on for products across the Tricentis portfolio.

The Tricentis approach to AI

For many years, Tricentis has been at the forefront of AI innovation, leveraging patented neural-network technology, machine learning, and generative AI to transform the Tricentis quality engineering platform. This synergy helps organizations accelerate their application delivery and optimize their entire IT landscape. Intelligent capabilities like Vision AI automate UI elements regardless of the underlying technology, while Risk AI provides smart impact analysis for SAP to help you prioritize testing and reduce significant effort. Now, the availability of generative AI opens wider possibilities for improving quality and productivity for our customers. Teams can generate, optimize, and expand actionable insights with AI to test faster and more effectively, and ultimately drive higher quality across their entire application landscape.

However, there’s a flipside to greater AI-powered productivity: increased risk. As users quickly find out, AI tools are not infallible; they hallucinate, display overconfidence, and lack critical questioning. AI lawsuits have increased 26-fold since 2021. GitHub’s AI assistant may raise developer productivity by 55%, but it also produces code with defects 40% of the time. As LLMs evolve, ensuring responsible and trustworthy AI will become paramount.

Our goal at Tricentis is not just to sprinkle AI on top, but to provide a holistic, responsible, and high-quality AI approach across our solutions that ensures testers and developers are more productive. To realize this vision, Tricentis embeds three core pillars into our AI strategy:

  1. Responsible AI: Tricentis endeavors to meet privacy, security, and compliance standards when building AI into our products. These products provide a user-centric and accessible design built to support the AI needs of all testers and developers (read more about it in our AI Trust Center).
  2. Quality AI: Machine learning and generative AI come together within our solutions to increase our users’ business productivity. By infusing advanced AI, we empower organizations to amplify their best practices and knowledge and enable them to scale efficiently.
  3. Testing AI: Customers are able to assess the readiness and potential risks of implementing generative AI in their own products.

While generative AI shows great promise, quality engineering and development teams need well-designed, responsibly implemented solutions that fit within their testing workflows to realize these productivity benefits. Tricentis Copilot steps neatly into this gap.

Tricentis Copilot: Your AI-driven assistant

Tricentis Copilot solutions are AI-powered assistants designed to help quality engineering and development teams improve productivity and application quality, responsibly. Tricentis Copilot solutions put AI directly in the hands of the user by automatically suggesting test cases, identifying fixes, and optimizing workflows to boost productivity and improve time to market.

Tricentis Copilot solutions include our most advanced and newest AI capabilities, paired with products across the Tricentis portfolio. Additional AI capabilities will be continually added to Tricentis Copilot solutions to meet the needs of QA and developers to test applications, processes, and data.

Generally available: Tricentis Testim Copilot

Our first Tricentis Copilot, Testim Copilot, is now generally available. This initial launch delivers a coding assistant that:

  • Enables teams to create tests for complex applications faster by using generative AI to generate custom code automatically from a text description
  • Makes it easier for less-technical testers to create custom tests without in-depth coding expertise
  • Explains test steps, making it easier to understand, document, and reuse existing code
  • Reduces the time and effort to debug test code by identifying issues and suggesting fixes

Coming soon: Tricentis Tosca Copilot, Tricentis qTest Copilot, and more

Testim Copilot is only the first of several planned Tricentis Copilot solutions. We’re currently previewing new capabilities and seeking customer and partner feedback for AI capabilities across the Tricentis portfolio.
