Tricentis reduces the effort to construct automated tests for Salesforce Classic and Lightning by 90%.
Mountain View, CA — May 6, 2019 —Tricentis today announced the latest release of Tricentis Continuous Testing Platform with a new Salesforce test automation engine that changes the game for traditional Salesforce.com testing.
As organizations decide to move from Salesforce Classic to Salesforce Lightning, they also must factor in the impact to all their integrated systems and platforms, including Oracle, ServiceNow, SAP and legacy applications. This means investing in resilient automation that can be easily ported across both Salesforce versions.
“Over the years, Salesforce.com has become a vital component of an organization’s digital strategy,” said Tricentis CEO Sandeep Johri. “In the past, it was very common for modifications to a Salesforce instance to be verified manually. Today, Salesforce is a critical component of the organization’s customer journey – hosting a vast number of integrations and touching multiple business-critical processes. Manual testing can no longer support the speed and breadth of tests required to validate changes. Tricentis’ AI-assisted test automation is the perfect solution for enterprises that require fast, comprehensive testing.”
“We understand that the costs associated with Salesforce Lightning migration and release readiness are high,” added Ryan Yackel, Director of Product Marketing for Tricentis. “This new engine allows teams to mitigate their migration risk by reusing the same modules for Salesforce Classic and Lightning. Our AI-assisted Salesforce scanning capability will drastically reduce automation effort by instantly creating your entire Salesforce test modules in under 90 seconds, saving hundreds of man hours per release.”
In addition to the Salesforce engine, the Tricentis Platform 12.2 features:
PDF Scan for Enhanced End-to-End Testing
Further extending Tricentis’ end-to-end test automation capabilities, Tricentis’ new engine rapidly scans PDFs in order to automate the verification of text and images during test scenarios.
Enterprise User Management
New centralized user management helps enterprise teams create, synchronize, and manage thousands of users across multiple projects from a web-based interface.
Maintainable API Testing via Module Scanning
Tricentis Tosca API testing received significant updates with new support for WebSocket protocols and an API maintenance feature that automatically performs health checks to decide if new test artifacts should be created, or requests need to be updated. It also provides simplified API test maintenance for both RAML and Swagger.
Agile Testing for Health and Life Sciences
Tricentis qTest now integrates e-signature capabilities to streamline workflows in regulated environments and ensure compliance with FDA 21 CFR Part 11 through a new integration with Tx3 Vera. For those moving from Micro Focus Quality Center to more agile planning tools like Jira Software, qTest and Vera now provide agile test management workflows while remaining compliant.
Full SAP Fiori Support for Performance Testing
Tricentis Tosca and Flood integration has been rebuilt from the ground up on Flood’s distributed grid infrastructure in Microsoft Azure. This allows Tricentis Tosca customers to take advantage of their own customizations and any accelerator packages around complex web applications, like SAP Fiori, to instantly run load tests on major browser engines including IE, Edge, Chrome and Firefox
