The ‘Digital Women’s Empowerment Consortium’ has announced a new training program to develop professionals capable of working with Tricentis test solutions. Below is an overview of the program.
Advancing women’s participation and promoting corporate digital transformation through new IT upskilling support
To help create an environment where women can work in a way that feels authentic to them, MAIA Corporation (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Yuka Tsukida, hereafter “MAIA”)—which supports the development of female digital talent and the digitalization of companies and local governments across Japan—serves as the lead organization of the “Digital Women’s Empowerment Consortium.” The consortium also includes Grameen Japan (Location: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Chairperson: Kimihiro Momono, hereafter “Grameen Japan”) and SAP Japan (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Hiroshi Suzuki, hereafter “SAP Japan”).
The consortium will launch a training program in December 2024 to develop talent capable of working with the AI‑powered test solution platform provided by Tricentis (Japanese subsidiary: Tricentis Japan G.K.; Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Managing Director: Ayumu Narizuka, hereafter “Tricentis”).
Since its establishment in May 2022, the consortium—formed by MAIA, Grameen Japan, and SAP Japan—has been working to promote women’s economic and personal independence and to revitalize regional economies across Japan. Working with local governments nationwide, it has offered IT skills training and project‑based work opportunities for women through the “Digital Women Project.”
The newly launched Tricentis talent development program aims to cultivate women with advanced, practical skills in response to the growing demand for software testing professionals, including those with SAP‑related expertise.
Participants will learn from instructors certified through Tricentis Academy, the official training platform of Tricentis. The curriculum includes both foundational and advanced skills for using “SAP® Enterprise Continuous Testing by Tricentis,” an AI‑driven test automation tool. Through this program, participants will acquire the capabilities needed to perform software testing efficiently in real operational environments.
Graduates of the program will gain the high‑level software testing skills that companies increasingly require, allowing them to contribute as immediate assets in the workplace. These skills are also expected to meaningfully support the success of digital transformation (DX) projects within organizations.
The consortium aims to train 300 Tricentis‑skilled professionals by the end of December 2025.
Going forward, the “Digital Women’s Empowerment Consortium” will continue supporting women as they expand their capabilities and career opportunities. By enabling digital talent to contribute across a wide range of companies and projects throughout Japan, the consortium will actively work to help address DX challenges faced by local governments and organizations nationwide.
