With Tricentis NeoLoad 2024.1, we’re excited to announce a groundbreaking addition: native support for Apache Kafka. In today’s dynamic software landscape, IT leaders are prioritizing data streaming investments, with 89% of respondents saying investments in data streaming are important, with 44% citing it as a top strategic priority. Kafka has risen to popularity across multiple industries where real-time data processing and communication are paramount.

With NeoLoad, organizations can now design and execute realistic performance test scenarios that accurately reflect the complexities of Kafka message processing. By assessing message throughput, latency, and scalability, organizations can confidently deploy Kafka-dependent applications.

Easily set up recordings for Kafka messages.

With NeoLoad, you can check the performance of your applications that interact via Kafka by creating Kafka events, and you can simulate load onto Kafka by injecting messages into Kafka topics. Furthermore, NeoLoad can also measure how fast applications can read instructions by capturing how long it takes for topics to be emptied. By simulating diverse message flows and analyzing system responses, you can gain comprehensive insights into how Kafka-dependent applications perform under various conditions, ensuring robustness across the entire system.

RealBrowser enhancements streamline productivity

NeoLoad 2024.1 also delivers additional productivity enhancements for RealBrowser, our browser-based performance testing functionality. With this release, we have introduced error filtering during recording to further speed up how users address any exceptions. In addition, users can now streamline the design and execution of recordings that require authentication by easily defining credentials via RealBrowser’s post-recording wizard. This allows recorded user paths to successfully run using these pre-configured parameters. Users can also configure or modify these parameters directly in the Open Browser user path for maximum flexibility.

Easily define authentication parameters to be used in recordings.

Quick and intuitive SSO

NeoLoad now offers a faster and easier-to-remember Single Sign-On (SSO) experience for NeoLoad Web. In addition to the SSO number, end users can now configure an SSO text label to access the application. This label can be an easily remembered value, allowing for a quicker and more intuitive login. Users will then have the flexibility to log in using either the SSO number or the SSO label.
