Tricentis Sets its Sights on Continued Momentum in 2023

The company experienced significant growth in 2022 driven by increased investments in its global footprint, partnership expansion, and product strategy and development

AUSTIN, TEXAS – February 28, 2023 – Tricentis, a global leader in enterprise continuous testing, today announced its 2022 results, industry recognition, and growth in its global footprint, product portfolio and partnerships, driving momentum for the year ahead. In 2022, the company generated nearly $300M in revenue, growing more than 30% year over year, and made investments in various parts of the business to benefit both its customers, partners, and employees. Newly opened offices, including the company’s global headquarters in Austin, Texas, a strategic R&D center and office in Prague, Czech Republic, and a new, expanded office in London, United Kingdom, enable employees to provide world-class service to new and existing customers across the globe, such as T-Mobile, ITOCHU, and the Football Association, to name a few.

Significant growth continues to be enabled by:

Fostering an end-to-end product strategy

  • Tricentis acquired Testim, an AI-based SaaS test automation platform. Testim extends the Tricentis AI-powered continuous testing offerings and further simplifies test automation, enabling development teams to create resilient end-to-end tests quickly and easily.
  • Tricentis released new solutions that enable customers to adopt cloud-based testing solutions, develop modern cloud-native and mobile applications, and migrate existing applications to the cloud.
  • Tricentis acquired Tx3 Services, a provider of automated quality and compliance software testing solutions for life sciences companies. Tx3 adds to the AI capabilities within the Tricentis continuous testing suite of products and provides greater specialization and increased capabilities to address the unique needs of the healthcare and life sciences industries.
  • Tricentis added combined protocol and browser-based performance testing to Tricentis NeoLoad and introduced new products, Tricentis Test Management for Jira and Tricentis Test Automation for Salesforce solutions.

Building a robust partner ecosystem

  • Fifty-six new partners were added to the Tricentis partner ecosystem in 2022, totaling 306 active partners dedicated to Tricentis customer success.
  • In the 2022 Global Partner Awards, Accenture stood out as the Tricentis top partner, winning a total of seven awards. Cognizant was also a top partner with two regional awards and the global Best Performance Testing Partner award.
  • Other notable wins from this year’s awards include IBM as the “Tricentis Breakthrough Partner of the Year” and Headspin as the “Tricentis ISV Partner of the Year.”

Demonstrating best-in-class value

“Tricentis understands Dell ISG’s direction in continuous testing,” said Adam Arakelian, Director of Software Engineering, Dell ISG. “We were able to take 20 different test case management systems, all working differently, and consolidate them into a single test case management system. This allowed us to achieve our goals around sharing intellectual property, increasing engineering mobility, and fostering collaboration from a test execution and test management perspective.”

“I am beyond proud of Team Tricentis for the best-in-class products and experience they deliver to our customers every day,” said Kevin Thompson, Chief Executive Officer, Tricentis. “As we make our way into the new year, we will take advantage of this incredible momentum to provide value beyond automated testing, delivering dependable solutions that ensure advanced software quality.”
