At Tricentis SeaLights, we believe that innovation begins long before the workplace. It begins with curious minds, bold ideas, and the opportunity to build something meaningful. The next generation of developers, product leaders, and technology founders is already taking its first steps, and we are proud to be part of their journey.

Recently, our Israel office hosted middle school student teams from Junior Achievement Israel, the official Israeli representative of Junior Achievement Worldwide. This global nonprofit organization empowers students to create real startups with real-world impact and reaches over 10 million students annually in more than 120 countries.

Students meet with Tricentis SeaLights mentors at our Israel office to review their startup plans and prepare for competition day.

This year, members of the Tricentis SeaLights leadership team are mentoring three student teams who have already won their local competitions. They are now preparing for the national finals and the international startup championship, where they will present their ideas to professional judges and global audiences.

Through hands-on guidance, our mentors are helping these teams refine their business strategies, strengthen their messaging, and build the confidence needed to present their solutions on a professional stage. This experience is more than a competition – it is a unique opportunity to develop foundational skills that will support their growth as future leaders in the technology industry.

Tricentis SeaLights team members offer real-time feedback and guidance during a hands-on working session with Junior Achievement participants.

Last year, one of the teams mentored by Tricentis SeaLights achieved an extraordinary milestone: placing third in the international finals out of more than 50 participating countries. It was a moment of immense pride and a powerful example of what is possible when young talent is met with encouragement, expertise, and support.

This initiative is not part of a formal company program, but rather a passion project driven by the Tricentis SeaLights leadership team. It reflects our strong belief in nurturing future innovators. These students are learning to think critically, work collaboratively, and solve real-world problems — skills that are essential for the future of our industry.

We extend our heartfelt support and best wishes to the participating teams in the upcoming national and international competitions. We look forward to celebrating their progress and successes, both today and in the future.

The mentorship initiative at Tricentis SeaLights is designed to go beyond technical coaching. Our team emphasizes core entrepreneurial skills such as market validation, product-market fit, storytelling, and resilience. By working with these student teams, we help them recognize real-world challenges and adapt their ideas to better address market needs. These are the same skills that drive innovation in the most successful startups today.

As part of their visit to our offices, students participate in interactive sessions where they pitch their ideas, receive feedback from experienced professionals, and refine their solutions in real time. These sessions simulate the kinds of iterative, feedback-driven cycles that professional product teams undergo, giving the students a head start on understanding what it takes to build something meaningful in the tech world.

Junior Achievement Israel is more than a competition platform. It is a movement that brings together youth from diverse communities and backgrounds across Israel. The program creates opportunities for students from all sectors of society to collaborate, learn from one another, and build lasting skills in communication, leadership, and innovation. The diversity of ideas and perspectives brought by these teams adds incredible richness to the process.

Supporting this initiative also gives our team the opportunity to reflect on our own work. In mentoring others, we reconnect with the creativity and enthusiasm that inspired many of us to pursue careers in technology in the first place. It reinforces the belief that mentorship is not a one-way street, but a mutually enriching experience that benefits everyone involved.
