Sandeep Johri

Chief Executive Officer

As the CEO of Tricentis, Sandeep brings over 25 years of enterprise software experience.  He manages all business-related functions including business strategy, products, services, sales, marketing, and operations to achieve business profit and sales objectives.

Sandeep most recently served as the COO of Appcelerator, the leading open source mobile application development platform. He was Vice President of Strategy and Industry Solutions at HP, where he also served as Vice President of Corporate Development. There, he was instrumental in developing and implementing the growth strategy that resulted in the software business growing 2X market over the last four years. Sandeep was instrumental in the formation of two startups, Determina (VMware) and Bluelane (VMware). He was also the CEO and founder of Oblix (Oracle), and co-founded eBoodle (EW Scripps), one of the first ecommerce comparison shopping services.

Sandeep has an MBA from Stanford University, a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Wayne State University, Detroit, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Pune University, India. Sandeep is involved as an advisor and investor in various startups in Silicon Valley and India.

Wolfgang Platz

Founder & Chief Strategy Officer

Wolfgang Platz brings over 20 years of technology experience to Tricentis. Wolfgang founded Tricentis in 2008 as a testing consultancy and laid the cornerstone for the development of our enterprise software testing product, Tricentis Tosca. Today, he is responsible for global product management, R&D and delivery of product-related support and services to our customers.

Prior to Tricentis, Wolfgang was at Capgemini as a group head of IT development for one of the world’s largest IT insurance-development projects. There, he was responsible for architecture and implementation of life insurance policies and project management for several projects in banks.

Wolfgang holds a Master’s degree in Technical Physics as well as a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Vienna University of Technology.

Michael Triplett

Managing Partner at Insight Venture Partners

Michael Triplett focuses on investments in Infrastructure and Application Software companies and has been instrumental in investments in more than twenty companies, many of which have achieved fast growth and realized significant value for shareholders and employees.

Mike has worked on the IPOs of Click Commerce, Solarwinds Inc. (NYSE: SWI), and Quest Software, and the acquisitions of Aelita Software (acquired by Quest Software), (acquired by Go2Net), Astaro (acquired by Sophos), BeyondTrust (acquired by Veritas Capital), Imceda Software (acquired by Quest Software), eEye Digital Security (acquired by BeyondTrust), Folhamatic (acquired by Sage plc), GFI’s TeamViewer (acquired by Permira), Kabum! (purchased by founders), Metalogix (acquired by Permira), and ScriptLogic (acquired by Quest Software).

Mike graduated cum laude from Dartmouth College with a BA in Economics.

Emmet B. Keeffe III

Venture Partner at Insight Venture Partners.

Emmet B. Keeffe III is passionate about accelerating the awareness and adoption of transformative enterprise software by global IT organizations.

In 1998, Emmet co-founded iRise with a vision to dramatically accelerate software delivery by transforming how business and IT stakeholders communicate about requirements for custom and packaged business software. iRise invented the market for “Collaborative Visualization” and has become the world’s leading provider of software visualization with nearly 1,000 customers worldwide. Emmet currently serves as Co-Founder and Board Director at iRise.

Emmet holds a BA from the University of California at Berkeley.  Emmet is a Resident Expert at the Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford, serves on the Advisory Boards of DocuSign, UST Global and The Digital Board and is passionate about international peace and global sustainability.

Philip Vorobeychik

Venture Partner at Insight Venture Partners.

Philip Vorobeychik has worked with Insight’s investments in Kaseya, BeyondTrust, GFI, Firemon, Mirantis, Unitrends, Veeam, and a number of other infrastructure and software/SaaS portfolio companies.

Prior to joining Insight, he founded several internet ventures including a small business focused internet services agency, and a series of specialty eCommerce stores. He also spent time at TwinRed Asset Management, a hedge fund and venture capital firm based in New York.

Philip graduated with honors from Cornell University with a degree in Applied Economics and Management.
