Chief Executive Officer
As the CEO of Tricentis, Sandeep brings over 25 years of enterprise software experience. He manages all business-related functions including business strategy, products, services, sales, marketing, and operations to achieve business profit and sales objectives.
Sandeep most recently served as the COO of Appcelerator, the leading open source mobile application development platform. He was Vice President of Strategy and Industry Solutions at HP, where he also served as Vice President of Corporate Development.
There, he was instrumental in developing and implementing the growth strategy that resulted in the software business growing 2X market over the last four years. Sandeep was instrumental in the formation of two startups, Determina (VMware) and Bluelane (VMware). He was also the CEO and founder of Oblix (Oracle), and co-founded eBoodle (EW Scripps), one of the first ecommerce comparison shopping services.
Sandeep has an MBA from Stanford University, a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Wayne State University, Detroit, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Pune University, India. Sandeep is involved as an advisor and investor in various startups in Silicon Valley and India.
Founder & Chief Product Officer
Wolfgang Platz brings over 20 years of technology experience to Tricentis. Wolfgang founded Tricentis in 2008 as a testing consultancy and laid the cornerstone for the development of our enterprise software testing product, Tosca Testsuite. Today, he is responsible for global product management, R&D and delivery of product-related support and services to our customers.
Prior to Tricentis, Wolfgang was at Capgemini as a group head of IT development for one of the world’s largest IT insurance-development projects. There, he was responsible for architecture and implementation of life insurance policies and project management for several projects in banks.
Co-founder & Chief Sales Officer
With over 20 years of experience in global enterprise sales, Franz is the co-founder of Tricentis. He heads up its global sales force and supports its internationalization and global expansion.
Franz previously was in charge of Compuware’s business in Central- and Eastern Europe in his role as Managing Director at Compuware for Austria and Central Eastern Europe. During his tenure he started and substantially grew the software and service business of Compuware in Central and Eastern Europe. Between 2000 and 2007, Compuware’s CEE-Business was among the fastest growing units within the company worldwide. Franz has held several sales- and sales management positions at PTC in Austria and Germany. When leaving PTC, he looked after PTC’s Major Account Business in Austria, Germany and Switzerland in the role of Regional Sales Director.
Sr. Vice President of Sales
Michael Eckhoff brings more than 20 years of software sales and marketing experience to his role as senior vice president of worldwide sales. Michael is responsible for driving top-line revenue growth and for leading our global sales organization.
Most recently, Michael served as senior executive of product marketing for HP Software’s Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) solutions. In this role, Michael led marketing and drove the strategic vision for these products, including the on-premise, service-based and cloud/on-demand versions. Previously, he was vice president of sales for the Application Lifecycle Management suite of HP software products in the Americas. Michael joined HP through the acquisition of Mercury Interactive, where he served in various sales and leadership executive roles. He also held senior-level positions at CA Technologies, AT&T and GTE.
Vice President of Engineering
Michael has more than 20 years of professional experience in various fields of the IT industry, including software consultation, product development and consumer electronics. At Tricentis, he is currently Vice President of engineering and is responsible for the company’s product development and technical customer engagements.
Prior to this position he was Vice President of Services for many years, responsible for the Professional Services team and Tricentis’ software testing projects all over Europe. Michael was Head of Software Development at Robitronic Electronic GmbH. Previously, he was CEO of hitec Entwicklungs- & Vertriebs GmbH, Head of Software Development at Insight Instruments.
Vice President of Operations
Alexander has acquired over 15 years of enterprise customer service experience. He is responsible for several departments that deal directly with customer needs and concerns, including Support, Customer Success and Knowledge management. He is also in charge of Operations and IT.
Alexander has had considerable experience in software testing projects, including serving as Test Manager for projects with Generali und Interunfall Versicherungs-AG, Wienerstädtische- und Donau Versicherungs-AG (all large insurance companies), and the Federal Defense Forces of Germany (Deutsche Bundeswehr). Prior to his current appointment, Alexander was a support engineer and software tester at Alcatel Austria.
An attorney by training, Mariana Spasojevic is responsible for Tricentis’ global Legal efforts. Mariana is an experienced legal expert and has been instrumental in building up the company’s world-wide presence. Together with her team she successfully facilitated the company’s expansion in all aspects of the legal domain and prepared Tricentis for further growth.
Mariana reports to CEO Sandeep Johri.
Prior to joining Tricentis, Mariana was first an associate then attorney at the Vienna based law firm of Wolf Theiss, where she specialized in antitrust law. There, she advised global clients from various sectors, such as banking, insurance and telecom on all aspects of competition law and multinational law of contract in CEE/SEE. During her tenure at Wolf Theiss, Mariana was seconded to Taylor Wessing in the United Kingdom and Germany, and participated in projects at Berwin Leighton Paisner, London.
Mariana graduated from the University of Vienna with a degree in Law, and studied European and international law at the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, the Netherlands. Mariana earned a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in European Law from the University of Edinburgh.
Dr. Gerd Weishaar
Vice President of Product Management
Dr. Gerd Weishaar has over 20 years of experience in product development and product management from various software companies, including Segue Software, Rational Software and IBM. Prior to joining Tricentis, Dr. Weishaar was responsible for the product management of Update Software, a leading vendor in the field of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software. As VP of Product Management at Tricentis, Dr. Weishaar currently manages a team of experts who have a strong focus on market demands and needs. His team is responsible for managing the entire product life-cycle of the Tricentis Tosca Testsuite and product marketing related content and communication.
Dr. Gerd Weishaar is a computer science graduate of the Johannes Kepler University in Linz, where he also obtained his Ph.D. He is also an MBA graduate of the prestigious MIT Sloan School of Management in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA.
Head of Finance
With more than 20 years of experience in international finance & accounting, and about 15 years in the IT industry, Johannes leads Tricentis´ Finance department. He is responsible for all global finance, accounting, reporting, tax and purchasing affairs.
Prior to this position, Johannes was in charge of the financial affairs in Central- and Eastern Europe in his role as Finance Director at Compuware, a global US-based Software company. Previously he was responsible for Finance of the subsidiaries in Central- and Eastern Europe for Mannesmann.
Chief Marketing Officer
With a customer-centric approach and fostering partnerships with industry leaders, Wayne has created and marketed products that have evolved to support the dynamic software development, test and delivery landscape. He has contributed to the design of many innovative technologies and has been awarded several patents for his inventions.
A recognized leader on topics such as Service Virtualization, SOA and API quality, software quality governance, and application security, he is a frequent contributor to industry publications and the author of the book Continuous Testing for IT Leaders.
Vice President for Professional Services
Michael has extensive experience in managing implementation and testing projects, training delivery and content development. As Vice President for Professional Services, he is responsible for advising on and implementing service delivery as well as training and education services for customers and partners.
Michael joined Tricentis as a software tester in 2000. He started working on testing projects with partners and customers in Europe, and worked his way up through various roles –from Senior Consultant to Managing Consultant and finally Project and Team Lead. Michael has advised customers and partners from a wide range of industries and has dealt with varying infrastructure and technology landscapes.
Vice President of Strategic Operations
As VP of Strategic Operations, Anton is responsible for Tricentis’ sales and marketing systems and infrastructure. He is in charge of leveraging data-driven analysis to help scale and drive efficiency across organizational functions.
Prior to joining Tricentis, Anton was most recently at Veeam, where his data-driven focus produced substantial revenue growth and established best in class sales and marketing metrics. While working with Veeam, Anton also managed sales across North America, LATAM, Eastern Europe and Middle East, and ran a global maintenance renewal business. Before Veeam, Anton was a regional manager at VMware and held various channel development roles at Microsoft. Earlier in his career, he was responsible for business development of emerging mobile and wireless product lines at Novosoft and ran marketing at a Moscow IT-consulting company.
Co-Managing Director for Tricentis Asia-Pacific
Thomas Hadorn is the Co-Managing Director for Tricentis Asia-Pacific. He has over 17 years of experience in software development lifecycle (SDLC), testing methodologies and automation in both large corporate and start-up environments. He holds an MBA from Macquarie University – Graduate School of Business in Australia, Executive Master of Business Engineering from University of Applied Sciences Bern and a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from University of Applied Sciences HSR in Switzerland. Thomas has a proven track record in successfully developing new markets, leading to significant gains in market share, revenue and profits. Prior to joining Tricentis, Thomas Hadorn held a variety of regional management roles at HP/Mercury as well as QA consultant roles at IBM/Rational in Europe and Australia.
Co-Managing Director for Asia-Pacific
Dominik Weissboeck is the Co-Managing Director for Asia-Pacific and has over 20 years of experience in software development and testing in both large corporate and start-up environments. He holds a MSc – Computer Science from Vienna University of Technology and a Masters Business Administration from Macquarie University – Graduate School of Business. He has a proven track record in successfully developing and executing new markets, leading to significant gains in market share, revenue and profits. Prior to his appointment to this role, he held a variety of regional management roles at IBM, including IT Architects Manager EMEA and Technical Sales & Services Manager EMEA.
VP Strategic Alliances
Alan is responsible for developing worldwide strategic alliances at Tricentis. With over 20 years of IT experience, Alan has a proven track record of working with industry-leading executives and partners to build channels, grow partnerships, and drive M&A integrations. This includes successfully building complete outbound OEM and GSI channels focused on meeting customer needs. Alan regularly speaks at global Tricentis and partner events.
Alan holds a BA in Japanese Studies and an MBA in International Marketing.
