How to Execute Test Runs
After you select the runs you want to execute, you can choose to run them multiple ways.
Select the quick run button to rapidly assign overall test status’ at the run level. Here the testers can individually set an overall test run, or they can mass apply one status to the entire group of test runs.
For step by step executions, select the run button to launch the test pad.
The test pad popup will open up to display all selected test runs along with their test steps.
You can move in and out over tests through a drop down on the test pad header.
To mark a step status, simply hover over the status column and then select your system or custom status you wish to mark.
To enter the actual step results, click into the step information column and to input any test data.
To add more information, you can add attachments and notes to clearly indicate what occurred during your execution. After you finish the rest of your grouped test runs, click them in the test suite grid to view the run history.
Test Run History
The test run view will show the entire execution history, which will include how many times the test run was executed. This view also includes key data points such as the which test case version was used during each execution.
All test logs will include their their corresponding test steps results and status’.
