New Directions at Tricentis

I’ve been at Tricentis a few months and now it’s time to look back and reflect. I’m excited about the developments at Tricentis and wanted to share some of them with you. I’ve gotten to know customers and see how they use our products and services. I’ve met with several partners, large and small, and discussed opportunities for us to work together to deliver incredible value to their clients.  We opened our US headquarters in Silicon Valley. We hosted our annual conference Tricentis Accelerate 2013 in Vienna, where more than 200 customers and partners attended. We’ve had two major releases of Tosca Testsuite. All of this – and much, much more – has convinced me that as our reliance on software grows, software testing will only become more crucial to delivering value and protecting the brand.

In short, there’s never been a more exciting time to drive innovation in this industry.

As CEO, my vision is for Tricentis to grow into an internationally recognized and trusted name in automated software testing. I am convinced that we can expand in large, untapped markets like the US and UK by addressing the basic problems that enterprises are facing: speeding up time-to-value while reducing business risk. Of course, Tosca Testsuite was designed to confront exactly these problems. Moving forward, we are focused on these initiatives:

Gathering input from thought leaders. Gartner has once again named us a Visionary in the Magic Quadrant for Integrated Software Quality Suites. Yet more valuable than this accomplishment is the feedback that Gartner gives us as we look to improve and grow.

Brand repositioning. You’ll notice from our website that we have a new look and that we’ve updated our content to reflect our dedication to accelerating business innovation. We have a new series of point of view papers and case studies that focus on risk management and improving efficiency by automating software testing. We’re also focusing on engaging the testing community on social platforms, such as this blog.

Expanding our operations in North America. We have opened our US headquarters in San Mateo, California. This will serve as our base as we aggressively pursue new business and look for ways to serve our existing customers there.

Strengthening our partnerships for integrated solutions. With names like Accenture, Cognizant, and SwissQ, we’re collaborating with industry leaders to bring you even better service.

Improving Tosca Testsuite. Despite all the change Tricentis is undergoing, we remain 100% committed to improving the quality of the testing solution you are already familiar with. The Tosca you know will remain just as powerful and easy to use and will only grow in features and capabilities.
This is just a sample of what we have in store for you. I want to hear from you, so feel free to post a response or shoot me an email.

Thanks, and I’m looking forward to all that 2014 will bring!
